Sunday School

 

Family Bible Hour runs every Sunday from 9am to 10am. It follows the Jamaican Baptist Union's Sunday School Scheme allowing us to provide in depth Bible study for all. As a way of encouraging the congregation to learn God's word the JBU produce an exam annually that is taken in October produced which aproximately 10% of Sunday School students take each year.

 

The age categories for each class are as follows:

Younger Children: 7 - 9 years 

Older Children: 10 - 12 years 

Youth I: 13 - 14 years 

Youth II: 15 - 16 years 

Youth III: 17 - 18 years 

Young Adult: 19 - 30 years 

Adult: 31 and over 

Teachers: 15 and over 

 

By splitting the congregation into different age groups the lessons are more tailored to the needs of the indviduals allowing them to gain a deeper understanding that is more appropriate to their age. Please join us in this time of learning.
